This month brings Thanksgiving and Piccoli’s one-year birthday. It’s the perfect time to say thanks to the people who made Piccoli Horses a reality.
Each of these friends has poured out their own creativity, goodness, compassion, and diligence.
My friend, Stacy, helped me write bullet points for a business plan and website copy.
My attorneys, Steve, Rick and Jeff, helped me file the trademark and patents.
My CPA, Jack, helped me formulate numbers for the business plan.
My photographer, Priscilla, took breathtakingly beautiful photos, once in the middle of a blizzard.
My software developers, Dmitry and Roman, helped create the Piccoli app and website.
My son’s neurosurgeon, Leslie, invested in the company, so we could make toy horses by Christmas.
My friend, Providence, helped me choose colors and fabrics for our toys.
My website designer, Shanshan, brought to life a beautiful website and app.
My software developer, Kirill, made it possible for the website to go live last November — on very short notice.
My toy manufacturers, Maria, Wallace, Sabrina, and John replicated my prototype horse so we could make thousands of toys from just one.
My friend, Craig, helped me network within the toy business to find marketing team of Richard + Catherine.
Toy reps, Tim, Craig, and the whole Toy Travelers team, sold our horses to toy stores across the South East.
My sales rep, Lindsy, put our toys in tack shops across the country.
My friend, Erick, helped me come up with the name Piccoli.
My friends Sherry, Lindsey, Nikki, Kim and Tyler, and Holden tirelessly keep me organized and on top of any shipping and technology issues.
Only five people I named on this list were my friends before I started this business.
They are all my friends now — and so many more whom I didn’t name!
This thanksgiving, I am thankful for ALL the people who helped our company achieve growth and success this past year. You are SO very loved!
